
CHICAGO (CBS)– Crews are working to clean up a fuel leak after a crash in the Hegewisch neighborhood Tuesday morning.
According to the Chicago Fire Department, a truck struck a concrete barrier after making a sharp turn near 12429 Burley Avenue. The crash ruptured the tank, causing about 50 gallons of Diesel fuel to leak.
No injuries were reported.
The hazmat situation has shut down 126th Street to Avenue O while crews work to clear the scene.
